As a director and playwright, I always focus on what I want to say and how I say it. Sometimes I use words to make that clear; sometimes, it shows in the way the actors move around the stage; sometimes, it is in the subtext, and sometimes in the silence. Ergo: every choice I make when I direct and write contributes to the story I want to tell.

What I love about being an Artesc trainer is that the same thing applies
there. I teach the students that what they say and write directly influences how their content comes across to the listener or reader. Is it understandable? Is it readable? Does it say what you want it to say? If not: there is always a solution. Discovering the tips tricks makes presenting and writing more fun for the students. And that makes my work so enjoyable.
